FLEMISH GIANT RABBITS
Flemish Giant rabbits are a very large breed of domestic rabbit, one of the largest of the species. They are bred as pets, for show, and for fur or meat because of their size. Flemish make a very docile and make a great family friendly pet. They are very versatile and can live indoors or adapt to the outdoor weather. They are very smart and can be trained to use a litter box living indoors or in a cage.
Flemish giants require a 16% pellet grain (We feed Purina Rabbit Chow), water (bowl or bottle), and timothy hay for their daily diet. Salt licks are recommended as well. They also love carrots for a snack!
Lets talk about how big these rabbits get!
A male flemish can weigh up to 22 lbs and a female can get up to 20 lbs.
They can grow to be 2.5 ft long!
A purebred flemish come in seven colors that are recognized by the NFFGRB as Black, Blue, Fawn, Steel Grey, Light Grey, Sandy, and White.
The average Flemish giant lives about 6-8 years, but some can live longer.
